10 DOs & 10 DON’Ts for Healthy Skin & Hair in Summer
Summer is here – time to care for your skin and hair!
DOs – What to do:
- Wear sunscreen every day, even when it’s cloudy.
- Clean your face morning and night with a gentle cleanser.
- Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
- Exfoliate 1–2 times per week for glowing skin.
- Wear a hat and sunglasses in the sun.
- Use moisturizer or after-sun lotion daily.
- Apply a hair mask once a week.
- Rinse your hair after swimming in the sea or pool.
- Tie your hair up to protect it.
- Take care of your hands and feet with mani-pedi sessions.
DON’Ts – What to avoid:
- Don’t skip your sunscreen.
- Avoid sun exposure from 12:00–16:00 without shade.
- Don’t wear heavy makeup, especially in the heat.
- Don’t leave salt or chlorine on your skin or hair.
- Don’t overuse heat styling tools.
- Don’t rub your skin harshly with a towel.
- Don’t touch your face with dirty hands.
- Don’t skip moisturizing after sun or waxing.
- Don’t forget hair treatments – they’re essential!
- Don’t sleep with wet hair – especially after the beach.
